Why join IJBS?

We are looking forward to hearing from you if you are thinking of joining IJBS. The society provides a network of academic and professional support for all those interested in John Bunyan in particular, and nonconformist culture in general.

Your membership will get you:

– support from a community of scholars working on many different aspects of Protestantism in the Long Reformation, but also interested in the reception of Bunyan’s work and dissenting influence in the Victorian and contemporary worlds;

–  the latest issue of The Recorderthe newsletter of IJBS, an indispensable tool to keep up to date with Bunyan news and scholarship;

–  the latest issue of Bunyan Studies: A Journal of Reformation and Nonconformist Culture, our well-established, peer-reviewed journal that has been publishing Bunyan scholarship (and much more) for over two decades;

– the use of our listserv for discussing your work, advertising your research via our dedicated Facebook and Twitter accounts;

–  the opportunity to join us at our Regional and Triennial Conferences and present the results of your current research.

For further information, get in touch with our General Secretary, Dr Robert W. Daniel, at: IJBSSecretary@outlook.com.
